Love this skirt! Apparently, so does everyone else - this skirt sold-out within the first week it was available online at Jcrew.com. The best thing about this skirt is its texture; the loops are individually stitched and the underneathe is the shell that adds dimension to the skirt itself. If you're looking for a simple statement skirt, this is it! I personally liked this skirt better in Shadow/Navy rather than the Ivory since white gets dirty easily.

Positively Radiant Complexion - Jouer Cosmetics Luminizing Moisture Tint $38
Ever wonder how some of Hollywood's celebrities capture the radiance of beautiful glowing skin you see on the red carpet? Try Jouer's Luminizing Moisture Tint!
It's no wonder this luminizing moisture tint is one of the newest staples in the make-up bags of some of today's top makeup artists including Troy Jensen. Rita Mitra's makeup above was created by Troy for the Underworld: Rise of the Lycans Movie Premiere back in January 2009 using Jouer's Luminizing Moisture Tint in Golden. Notice how her skin is absolutely glowing!
Personally, I love to mix this with my regular foundation to add luminosity with the added coverage of a liquid foundation. You can use this alone or even mix with your favorite everyday facial moisturizer. Mix this with your favorite body lotion for added all-over glow! The possibilities are endless!
Jouer Cosmetics description says it all, "This lightweight moisturizing tint evens out imperfections and fades the appearance of fine lines with its light-diffusing multi-mineral formula. SPF 20 protects from UVA and UVB rays while Ginseng and Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract deliver antioxidants to skin, promoting a healthy complexion".
Word about this awesome tinted moisturizer is quickly spreading and is available at JouerCosmetics.com. Click here for the link! Price: $38

Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer
Just when you thought you didn't need a foundation primer, along comes Make Up For Ever's HD Microperfecting Primer! Before I started using a primer I had this notion that it would only cause my somewhat sensitive skin to break out or it would just end up clogging my pores. The urge of wanting to know what all the fuss was about took over and I gave in only to realize this stuff is fantastic!
I moisturize with Oil of Olay SPF 15 after washing my face then apply a nickel-sized amount of the Mauve (used for counteracting sallow skin undertones) followed by the application of foundation. I personally have light/medium skin with beige undertones and the mauve works out great for me; however, I'll be trying the pink next for the added brightening. Also, the green gets a lot of raves for its awesome job at counteracting any redness whatsoever!
I've broken down the different colors and what they do...
0 Naturual - Adds natural luminosity to the complexion
1 Green - Minimizes redness - ideal for skin with rosacea
2 Mauve - Counteracts sallow undertones
4 Caramel - Combats ashiness in medium to dark skin tones/warms golden tones
5 Blue - Adds radiance to fair skin/reduces minor imperfections
6 Yellow - Lightens dark complexions
7 Pink - Brightens the complexion/ counteracts sallow undertones
This stuff will not clog your pores and it makes your foundation glide right on! I've noticed the added staying-power my foundation has now until the end of the day. This primer is available at Sephora, click here for the link.

Simply Amazing! New L'Oreal EverPure Sulfate-Free Color Care System - Volumizing, Moisturizing, or Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner - Free Samples!
It’s no surprise that L’Oreal operates a massive beauty empire with names such as Garnier, Giorgio Armani, Kérastase, Kiels, Lancôme, Matrix, Maybelline, Redkin, and Shu Uemera. Personally, I have been using Matrix hair products for years with Redkin at a close second. All that being said I am extremely impressed with L’Oreal’s newest hair care line called EverPure Sulfate-Free Color Care System!
L’Oreal’s EverPure Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner is an absolute DREAM! I can honestly say that I’ve probably tried/tested almost every top brand of Shampoos and Conditioners available in-stores. Until now, I’ve been more inclined to stick with salon quality products over grocery store brands; however, like all the others, I gave L’Oreals New EverPure a try except this time I have absolutely fallen in love!
Over the years I’ve been somewhat happy with certain shampoos and conditioners only to have them build-up or dry out my hair over a period of time causing me to switch back and fourth or to ultimately use a clarifying shampoo. I have color-treated, dry, med/thick, long, naturally wavy/frizz prone hair and just when I thought I’d found a good shampoo or conditioner I’d only end up getting frustrated when the results wouldn’t hold up. I had a list of pros and cons of each brand that only took up space in my cabinets, leaving me longing for the perfect shampoo and conditioner that I realized probably didn’t exist.
The following seemed like a lot to ask from a shampoo and conditioner but this was how I would have described it...
Soft, manageable, tangle-free hair from the minute I comb, throughout styling, and lasting all the way through the next day.
Smooth, frizz-free, light, bouncy, and shiny from root to tip.
No build-up or weighing down even after multiple uses.
Clean, gunk-free feeling.
UVA/UVB Filters for sun/environmental protection.
And most importantly – CONSISTENCY.
L’Oreal’s EverPure stands up to ALL of the above. I have not tried the EverPure Volumizing or Moisturizing Systems and am only currently speaking on my experience with the Smoothing System; however, all products are 100% sulfate-free. These systems are available in various shampoos, conditioners, treatments, and styling products. There are no harsh sulfates and salts that can strip color out of hair and even better, these products are 100% Vegan.
The consistency of both the shampoo and conditioner seems very thick at first and the smell was quite strong leading me to be skeptical. I originally thought it may end up being too heavy but I knew from the second I wrung my hair out in the shower that something was different. My hair was so soft; just clean and refreshed! The smell may be a little strong for some; however, I found it to wake me right up in the early morning! The scent of rosemary, jumiper, and mint filled my bathroom like something out of an Aveda Salon which I loved.
Word is quickly spreading about L’Oreal EverPure and I now have this crazy urge to stock up on this just in case for some reason it becomes so popular that I won’t be able to find it anywhere! It’s probably due to the fact that it took me going to 6 different stores including Ulta, Target, Walgreens, CVS, and two different Walmart’s until I finally found it in stock. Even better, EverPure’s shampoo and conditioner is priced around $6 each.
You can absolutely not afford to at least try it! Even better, L’Oreal is giving away FREE samples, simply go to L'Oreal EverPure to sign up!

Khloe Kardashian's BCBG MaxAzria Strapless Dress in Gunmetal - Also seen on Lynn Collins at the 2009 Golden Globes
It's usually Kim and Kourtney Kardashian that steal the show but this BCBG MaxAzria Strapless Mini Dress in Gunmetal on Khloe in the newest Keeping Up With The Kardashian's Season 3 ad campaign is absolutely stunning. This dress hugs every single curve perfectly and the texture of the fabric leaves you curious. Retail value of this dress was originally $318 but you can now find this ON SALE at any BCBG MaxAzria store for only $95!!! They've already sold-out on http://www.bcbg.com/; however, you can call any BCBG and have them track one down for you in your size. One thing I love about BCBG MaxAzria is the fact that they can perform a charge/send from another store located in another state. This dress is available in X-Small - Large.
Below you can see Lynn Collins wearing the same dress at the 2009 Golden Globes. I never would have thought of pairing this dress with nude heels but somehow it works; it keeps the focus on the dress itself!

Change the Way You Make Up with The Beautyblender! The Ultimate Foundation, Blush, and Powder Sponge!
Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've made a post; However, from now on I will be making more of an effort to post new items! So here goes...
This cute little sponge is the newest product in make-up trends. It's called the beautyblender. You can buy it online at http://www.beautyblender.net/ or at http://www.sephora.com/ (Not yet available in Sephora Stores). The starter kit is $34.95 that includes 1 beautyblender + 1 cleanser. Purchase one beautyblender for $19.95 or two for $25.95.
The beautyblender does what foundation brushes and other sponges simply can't. It gives your foundation a streak-free, air-brushed effect. Unlike foundation brushes you get this sponge wet, squeeze, and pat your foundation on with a "bouncing" motion, also known as stippling in the make-up world. The beautyblender is also amazing for cream blushes, powders, mineral make-up, etc. Makeup genius Mario Dedivanovic uses this sponge to apply foundation on his clients which includes Kim Kardashian. Who doesn't love Kim Kardashian's always flawless makeup? It doesn't matter what kind of makeup you use...the secret is always in the tools you use!
See the beautyblender tutorial video below!

Confessions of a Shopaholic - Movie Review
I can't believe this movie didn't even break into the top three this Valentine's weekend despite the movie theatre on Saturday night being completely packed!
Oh well and with that said, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by all those lovely boyfriends and husbands who sucked it up and patiently sat through this movie by their significant other’s sides. While this movie has chick flick written all over it I will say that my boyfriend actually enjoyed it, or so he says!
Now onto the actual movie review...
Isla Fisher is absolutely wonderful. Her undeniable talent for physical and comedic characterization has always been genius in my mind and her character (Rebecca Bloomwood) in this movie is no exception. She’s lovable, awkward, and funny all at once. While she’s very eccentric and over-the-top at times, I believe that in one way or another the shopaholic in us all can simply relate.
Rebecca Bloomwood is an endearing, cutthroat shopaholic whose naïve ways have launched her into massive amounts of debt. Rebecca is chasing after her dream job at a high fashion magazine all while juggling a full-blown addiction to shopping and her current job at a financial magazine. She becomes tangled in a web of lies and pesky creditors are trying to ruin her job credibility. However, she has more to lose than just her job. She could lose the things that matter to her the most...her best friend and the one she loves.
I won’t spoil the movie for you but you really need to go see this movie! Just fight the sudden urge to go shopping after you do! :)

Scuni's Magic Grip Hair Pins!
I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with bobby pins. They’re good for pinning up small amounts of hair but they’re very unsightly when they begin to fall out near the end of the day. I’ve especially used bobby pins to hold up the hair underneath my ponytail making them even more visible.
However, I’ve recently found Scuni’s Magic Grip Hair Pins at a random trip to Walgreens. They’re plastic hair pins available in brown and clear that won’t cause damage to your hair. All I simply do is stick one of these babies vertically/upwards underneath the very base of my ponytail and it keeps my ponytail taut all day. These hair pins don’t fall out very easily and they’re great for all sorts of updos.
I personally have medium/thick long hair and have always wondered how to easily pin up my hair into a bun without using clips such as butterfly clips. All I have to do is wrap my hair into a bun and strategically place a few of these around and I have a perfectly secured hair. They’re also great for clipping up wet hair in a bun at night and letting out dry loose waves in the morning.
No matter how you use them, these pins are great to have on-hand!

He's Just Not That Into You - Movie Reivew
Hey Everyone! I just saw He's Just Not That Into You. The book itself was repetitive and it was a little bit expected for the movie to be the same. Although, I will say that it was much better than I had anticipated. While the theme and the title of the book was pretty straightforward, I feel as if the screenplay and the script was very well-written. However, I will say that I feel that without the casting of Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck the movie would have been lacking. Also, I love movies with interconnected social webs which definitely pull you in. Overall, a very cute and smart romantic comedy! Go see it!
